Tokyo, Japan., June 15, 2022 – SOLIZE Corporation and HP Inc. today announced that Toyota Motor Corporation has installed HP’s 3D printing solution to verify applications for final products in addition to producing prototypes.

In 2021, in response to customer demand, Toyota Motor Corporation started an initiative to produce replacement parts using 3D printing and sell them as genuine parts. For this project, SOLIZE uses the HP Jet Fusion 3D printing solution to manufacture parts. To create a more flexible manufacturing process, Toyota Motor Corporation decided to deploy the HP Jet Fusion 5200 Series aimed at using 3D printing for short-run production of final products as well as prototypes.

SOLIZE and HP are continuing their long-standing partnership to advance digital manufacturing. SOLIZE, a HP partner, owns five HP Jet Fusion 3D printers and has extensive experience and know-how in 3D printing. SOLIZE supported the smooth deployment of HP’s 3D printer for Toyota Motor Corporation.

The HP Jet Fusion 5200 Series 3D Printing Solution can design and manufacture high-quality commercial parts by taking advantage of the advanced capabilities provided by HP’s Multi Jet Fusion Platform. By producing functional parts with the highest degree of isotropy in its class, customers can achieve both production efficiency and economic efficiency, and manufacture final parts for a wide range of applications.
